New Shopify App: Show. See. Sold. Interactive Display

Did you know that as many as 50% of sales are lost because potential customers can’t find what they are looking for, and an estimated 75% of shoppers never scroll past the first page of search results?

Research shows that images are the most important factor in the online shopping experience, more important even than price. When we shop we scan many items in a way that allows items of interest to catch our eye through the tracking of subtle factors such as colour, shape and position.

What does this mean to you, the eCommerce retailer, seeking new points of difference as online shopping matures? It means that existing online image galleries are counter-intuitive to the way people shop in real life. A static, flat 2D grid does not meet the needs of customers to visually scan and interact with products.
Show. See. Sold.
Show. See. Sold. is a simple yet brilliant interactive display app for your Shopify store. Online retailers can display their products in the unique interactive display using existing product/image databases. Shoppers can use any connected device to swipe, zoom, spin and filter to view different aspects of a product range, and click through to buy. The result is improved user experience, engagement, and conversion…and best of all it works!
Seamless integration with Shopify means images and copy are always up to date and you can easily control what is displayed. Show. See. Sold is all about user experience and delivers across all devices from desktop to mobile.
What do I need to do?
Putting together an interactive display is incredibly easy, to the point of being almost hard to believe.  Cameron Parker from Black Milk puts it best “I was actually worried about how simple the technology thereitis originally pitched to us would be to execute, but I have to say it turned out to be ridiculously simple.”

Our developers have spent a lot of time behind the scenes to the point that any retailer can use the technology without requiring detailed technical knowledge or a large investment of time.
We have worked hard to ensure that setting up our Interactive Display is a quick process, but also one that doesn’t require much human involvement.
The current generation of online retailers have fantastic photography which makes it really easy to create an interactive product experience. The best starting point is plain background photography, however many stores choose to remove the image background which is also effective. The ideal images are ‘deep-etched’ so they appear to float in the 3D space.
How do I get it?
Simply visit www.showseesold.com
Step 1 – Install Show. See. Sold.
Step 2 – The app automatically converts your current products into a Show. See. Sold. interactive display.
Step 3 – Choose which products or categories you want to display using Show. See. Sold
Finished! Yes it really is that simple!

Show more. See more. Sell more.
Against a background of ever-increasing retail options available to online retailers, Show. See. Sold. stands out. When a wealth of information exists, this ‘over-supply’ creates a poverty of attention. In a world filled with distraction, attention is the competitive advantage that Show. See. Sold. delivers.
Join the interactive generation and show more, see more, & sell more.

Alibaba plans direct entry to India. Do Flipkart and Amazon need to worry ?

G ood news for consumers especially for those who are ordering from Alibaba (China) and wait for their products to arrive after 45 days . Many of Indian online consumers order directly from Alibaba as the cost advantage is huge (almost as low as 20% - 30% of the price you get it from Flipkart and Amazon) .  They get their products from Aliexpress (Alibaba logistics arm) after 45 days. " We buy electronics items quite frequently from Alibaba and the prices are very low compare to Indian online retailers", said a frequent buyer from India. Many traders get their product directly from Alibaba after paying import duty and still it is quite cheap. Instead of samsung mobile he has received an old kitchen soap. Imagine a customer reaction.  See what he has written on his facebook wall and the post got viral and till now it has got 20,524 shares on Facebook. Imagine how many people the post might have reached. The rough estimates of the reach could be around 40 to 50 lac people. (just an estimate) Nothing much to say about Snapdeal, when you see mouthshut reviews and customer complaints.  This is not new. We have earlier faced the similar issue with Snapdeal where they were not able to deliver a printer and in another instance they have sent a defective tricycle for my kid.    Read More : Buying From SnapDeal : Think Twice.
